The Afrikaans Language Museum is the core of the Afrikaans Culture and Language. Situated in Paarl, a short drive out of Cape Town, it is a must-see for anyone interested in the history of Afrikaans.
The museum was once home to the Association for True Afrikaners (ATA). The Afrikaans Language Museum is set in a two-story, Georgian style house. Visitors can trace the shaping, the story and the personalities of the language, as well as see an authentic printing machine.
